Between Classes

Mondays and Wednesdays, I have a night class at 2015 until 2135 revolving around Japanese conversation, which is good for me, since I’m in dire need of conversation exposure. But from ten in the morning until then, I’m pretty much free. That leaves me with a lot of free time to goof off do homework and study. Homework is a major issue with me because I’m such a procrastinator to begin with that I’ll usually leave it until the very last minute. More often than not, though, if I do homework as close as possible to test or exam time, I find I do better on them than not. I know it sounds like a load of crap, but if I just worked through problems, they stick in my mind clearly the next day.

Math 105 was okay, though I had to fight to stay awake. We covered all the pre-algebra stuff and the homework is all of twelve problems talking about whole numbers and real numbers and all that bullshit. Japanese was abbreviated because it’s actually four classes in one (Japanese 4, 25A, 25B, and 36Z), and though the people in Japanese 4 made up a majority of the class numbers, we were dismissed early to let the other three classes have a chance to go over their syllabus and expectations.

I hope Math picks up a little bit. It’s my earliest class, and without caffeine I’ll be snoozing in there in no time.

I believe this calls for us leaving 15 minutes early for a round of DDR Extreme in the campus arcade. 😉 That’d wake you up.
