Economics as a minor?
As I read through my economics text this afternoon, waiting for to get out of her last class, I actually considered economics as my elusive minor when I transfer to SFSU. It’s kind of a change from the history minor I was considering, but if you think about it, having econ as a minor might actually serve me as a more stable fallback study route if I should decide to take that minor and bump it up to a four-year degree. The neat thing about having a minor is the ability to switch it. After all, by the time I get to SFSU, I’ll have more than enough units to make Japanese a minor if I decide to go a different route. So, I’ll be considering a change in direction a little more, now that I have a better idea of what I want to do. Right now, though, my heart’s set on studying Japanese as my major.
