Okay, lemme be the first to say this: That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard you say. I hope to God that this isn’t because I didn’t go to that radio show thing with you tonight. >< Lemme tell you how my day went: I was at work all day long and didn't get home till 9pm, now I'm doing laundry for 2 hours before I get to go to bed so I get enough sleep to get up for work tomorrow morning. I absolutely could not in any possible way go with you tonight. Also, if you don't mean that much to me, why did I get you a Christmas present even after you told me not to? Stop having a pity party for yourself... you've been my only best friend for almost ten and a half years now, and that's not gonna change.
I would go to the radio show thing, but I work on the weekends and it is a bit short notice to take the day off. I think everybody tries to make a effort but with the holidays and such coming it is a bit hard to take some time out. I hope you understand. thanks!
You were urging Jody, not really me. I felt like you didn’t want me there, that I would have been a hinderance (perhaps to your social life), so here I am at home. Besides, with all the girls hangin’ on you, having the ex around = Bad Thing(tm).

Well, I didn’t really mean to include everyone in that. I think at the time I wrote it, I was feeling pretty unwanted, and not all of my friends have made me feel that way. Besides, you’re all the way in Sacramento, and there’s no way I would expect you to drive out on I-80 on Saturday during Amateur’s Day Out. 🙂
