My boss reviewed my performance since I started working at Walmart.com. I earned a raise and a because we met our target profits last year, I also get a bonus of some kind. I’m glad, of course, but I absolutely hate performance reviews. I told my boss that unless there was something he had not already told me before, the reiew was really nothing more than a hoop to jump through in order to justify an increase in compensation. Though, I had remarked during the review meeting that if I really sucked at my job, would they ask for some of the compensation back? 🙂
