To Tap, on the occasion of her 23rd birthday

Sometimes it’s hard to beleive that we’ve only known each other for a year. All the adventures we’ve embarked upon in that time have made it seem like we’ve known each other for much longer, and I’ve found that great friendships often make one feel as such. When I look back on that crappy first Marlins/Giants game, I don’t think either of us knew what we were getting into the first time we hooked up for that game and then ended up spending the whole day together. But ever since then, you’ve come to be this person in my life that has redefined a lot of things I thought I really knew and I’m happy to have you as a friend in my life. So, let me say happy birthday and I hope that I get to say that for many years to come.

From your hetero life partner. πŸ™‚

This is seriously the best birthday present ever.

With the exception of the signed volume of Moneyball. πŸ™‚

Remember what I said about my birthday: presents optional, presence mandatory.

For your birthday, I asked Noah to put a stop to this seven-game slide. He said if it’s for you, he’ll do it.

    Happy Birthday. πŸ™‚
