Jimmy Doohan died this morning at 5:30am in his home in Redmond, WA. He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and succumbed to pneumonia. I’ve personally had limited contact with Mr. Doohan during my days working conventions for Creation, and every time I saw him when he was in the area, he was the nicest and kindest person to talk to and ask questions of. He loved the fans and we loved him. I know I’m going to miss him.
