Baseball Bias: Predictions due tonight

We pushed off the predictions one more day, because we still haven’t heard from , , , , , or . You guys aren’t giving me the warm and fuzzy feeling of being on the ball. Where are your picks? If I don’t have your preseason predictions by 1am Pacific time tomorrow morning, then I’ll be left with no choice but to see if I can find writers to replace you. I need consistant writing, especially for the Yankees and Red Sox. I cannot afford to have flakes. Please check the forums to see what kind of format we’re using. If you are having problems logging into the site, then you should be telling me so, but I haven’t heard much from any of you so far.

In other news, has applied to be a writer for the Phillies. Any comments on this? 🙂

Sorry- work’s going nuts right now.

Frankly, you might want to find someone else to write for the Red Sox for now- I just got handed a massive project that is going to eat my life for the next month or so. I’d love to spot write, but I’m not seeing a ton of free time until at least May.

Yeah, I’m really sorry, but I haven’t had the time for writing lately. Don’t get me wrong, I’d really like to, I think it’s a great site you have, but I honestly don’t know that I’ll be able to do it. Especially with exams coming up soon… I dunno. Sorry.

We discussed me taking over the Yankees’ spot if Tracy didn’t want to do it. Quite frankly, it’s hard for me to write about the Astros since I really don’t follow them.

Also, you forget that I have a website of my own that demands attention. Not to mention a husband. 😉

Just take the Yankees spot at this point. Tracy hasn’t responded to any of my mails or queries.

I don’t want to start a pissing contest, but I work 17 hours a day at my current job, plus do a radio show, plus getting married, plus sitting on a board of directors for a production firm, plus write novels 🙂 Somewhere in there, I’m supposed to get sleep, but that’s entirely optional, I’m thinking.

If you can’t do it, then don’t do it. But I’d rather you tell me now then halfway to the all-star break, yanno? 🙂

I know. I was giving the whole thing a lot of thought and … to be honest, I don’t think it would be fair for me to say “yeah, I’ll do it” when I know I couldn’t give it my all. The current political climate has me doing a lot of stuff on my site and its blog. It’s not a pissing contest, it’s more like what’s important to me, and the continuing erosion of a woman’s right to choose in this country kind of trumps whether or not A-Rod can help the Yankees win another WS or who might take the NL Central in my book. I will gladly pimp BB because I think it’s a great idea and maybe down the road I can participate in a greater capacity, but I don’t think I can give it the attention that’s needed. You have my full permission to think I suck.
