Live from the Ballpark

After picking up my father for the ballgame at my mother’s house, we arrived at PBP at about a quarter to noon; more than enough time to pick up the tickets and get ourselves some food. Neither of us had had anything to eat since the previous day, so we entered the ballpark pretty hungry. The first inning of play ended about fifty minutes after the game started, with both sides of the inning erupting in major displays of run production. San Diego scored first in the top, with four runs. San Francisco, with the aid of Padres pitcher Tankersly and his walking of three Giants in a row with the bases loaded, answered back with a sum total of seven runs and also while batting around the order. Tankersly, unfortunately, was pulled off the mound by his manager due to the fact that the Padres pitcher was apparently the best player on the Giants staff.
