Since I’ve been asked for what I want at various times by people, I wanted to post this real quick on Christmas. I’ve received gifts already from people, and I’m grateful… but to those who have not yet and were planning to, please don’t. 🙂
Instead, I hope you would consider making a donation to either the American Red Cross or your local homeless shelter on my behalf. I’m unemployed, and while I think getting gifts is awesome, it would be better to slip the Red Cross a $5 or a $10, if you can spare it for me. Normally, I would make the donation myself, but I can’t afford it… and they keep saying on the news how they’re falling short of their goals due to hurricane assistance provided earlier in the year.

I think it’s a very conscientious decision. I would donate, but I’m kind of strapped myself (it’s become a disturbing trend amongst a lot of my friends lately…)
So I’ll just say that I’m glad we’re friends. 🙂
