Grogtacular

Last night, when I got home, If let pretty tired, but due to the fact that I had some work to do, I did not get to sleep until almost three in the morning. I wake up every morning at 8:45, to give mysel fenough time to get ready and then wake up fully before I go to work on Friday morning. Friday’s are the worst for me, since the night before, there’s an 80%-30% chance that we performed a major code push hours before I even get there. What that generally means is that when I settle in at my desk, it’s usually amid chaos. Usually the weekend days are a little less hectic, but not this weekend.

Lately, I’ve been reading a book I’ve borrowed from a friend of mine called, Fast Food Nation, with which I’ve become totally fascinated by the darker side of fast food, from its humble yet sinister beginnings, to its current corporate stronghold. I’ve only mananged to get through the first hundred pages during breaks and such, but it’s been quite a gripping piece of non-fiction. I highly recommend it to anyone who eats a lot of fast food. Just be prepared to be a little disturbed by what you read… maybe ignorance really is bliss!

You WILL get a back massage when you get home. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
