It’s very … um … sporty. Personally I think it’s a little orange and black, but there’s probably a reason for it that a South African hick can only guess at.

You’ll see that there are many layouts I played with before I settled on The Boxer. I wanted to give you something you hadn’t seen before but I figured I’d just work with the style that has produced some of my best layouts.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s quite pretty. Just that I don’t get any of the symbology behind it.

The statue is of Willie Mays, retired number 24, former centerfielder. The statue is located in front of Pacific Bell Park, where they play currently.
