So, the New Year is here. I guess maybe the anticipation has gone away, because I really don’t get all that excited about NYE as I used to be. Though, I spent it at a friend’s house because hosting at my place was just not an option due to the grotesque nature of the kitchen (which got resolved today). We watched movies, laughed our asses off, ate pizza, drank beer (I drank Pepsi), and then got kicked out at 2am to go home and then go to sleep. The funny thing was, sleep didn’t come easy, and I stayed awake in the silence of my room because I forgot to turn on something and I was too lazy to get up and turn something on. It wasn’t until almost 5am that I finally dozed, except it wasn’t actual sleep because I kept waking up every 15 minutes with the bewilderment of having fell asleep.
Next year, for New Year’s, I’m going to Disneyland and you’re all coming with me.
