Yet another series I’m watching this week (not for the show or anything) is Prince of Tennis, or TENISU no Oujisama. It’s pretty good, and has a lot of seiyuu I happen to be a fan of… not to mention it feels like Kenshin, except with tennis 🙂 Seriously awesome series… do not let another minute go by before downloading these episodes from Animesuki. 🙂 I’m going to keep watching until I drop! 🙂

Sounds like my kind of thing – I’m imagining a cross between Kenshin and Marmalade Boy, for some reason. Be a good boy, toss it on DVD and Fedex it to me. 😉
Yes! Prince of Tennis, the best series I’ve never had the time to sit down and watch. Of course I’m kind of partial seeing I’m a tennis nut myself but I have something like 90eps of the series and only watched the first 8-9. I just love the idea of tennis with super moves though. Trust me, Kaido’s Snake is not possible…I’ve tried. (at least not to the extreme that he does it)
For you, special duty value of $1,500! 🙂

Not like it wouldn’t be the first time for anime to exaggerate something for effect. 🙂 I have 1-45 downloaded so far, with all the way to 122 queued 🙂

So like, there once was this guy with Hiten-Mitsurugi style of tennis, and he was so bad-ass that he killed people?! And then he served the ball so crazily that he killed the girl he loved?! Now he wanders around, protecting the well being of simple tennis players everywhere, with a reverse racket?! But still there are those that recognize him and are like, “oh, it’s the master tennis slayer” amd they want to play him to prove that they’re the best in Japan?! Or did I just like….miss the whole point?
….Now I wanna watch it! =P ^_________^ =P
*sniffs* What happened to friendship, the American Way and Mom’s apple pie?
…boy, did I just murder that quote. No, seriously, is it really that good? Maybe I should try to pick it up next year then. I already have plans to buy a second suitcase over there!

One of the best lines ever, oh, and Prince of Tennis is great, too.
