I’m about two-thirds away from finishing Chapter Eleven, right now. The story’s beginning to take a better form for a first draft, which is always good. I’m awaiting the customary bitchslap from my editor on Chapter Ten, though, and so I’m sure that we’ll go through this chapter with a finetoothed comb.
By the way, you short-attention-span fanfic writers who think that 600 to 1,000 words is a long story? 71,093 words, bitches. I took a look at NaNoWriMo. I’d join, but I want to finish Knight Commander, first. Maybe if I finish this by November 1st, I can start working on Knightfall or another Hope story. That would be cool, to put a 50,000 word dent into another story in 30 days. Shit, I think I could bang out 50,000 words in under 2 weeks. It would be an insanely crappy 50,000 words, but I think I could do it.

*grins* Yeah… I think it’s kind of funny by comparison because I’ve done poses alone that are 400 words, so someone thinking a story of 600 words is huge is just crazy… I’ve got somewhat of an idea for my nanowrimo thing.. hoping it’ll work me past this writing funk I’ve been in recently where no matter how much I’ve wanted to write about anything the words just haven’t wanted to be there.. the idea is there until I start to put it down, be it LJ or story or whatever..
