So yeah, I’ve decided to start a band. Not your average guitar and drum band, I’m talking about a 25-piece band, with all the instruments a band should have.. including guitar and drums. We will rule the world with professional quality and our ability to tackle anything from B’z to Kanno Yoko ๐ While I’m at it, I would also like five saxophones from soprano to contrabass.
I’m serious about the band. If you’re a Bay Area resident and have talent in either instrumental or vocal music, click comment and let me know. There are tons of anime rock bands out there, but I’ve never seen a full ensemble band play anime music without a big name doing a concert… I think it would rule to do a show like that.

I think it’s a cool idea… one of the things we kept thinking about as 5xl was breaking up was to do an anime barbershop thing… but from a practical point of view, getting 6 people together to rehearsals once a week was hard enough… the pure logistics of getting 25 people together on a regular basis would be a nightmare.
That said, I’d might be willing to give it a try. ๐

Wow, that sounds awesome and fun! If I wasn’t so busy with a ton of stuff, including my cosplay group, then I’d love to join up. I can’t play a sax, but I can play a Clarinet LOL. Well and sing too ๐
Sax is just the Clarinet’s upper register ๐ I knew a lot of clari players who could switch between soprano or alto sax ๐
But I know your free time isn’t free ๐
