I’ve been using the Real Rhapsody service, looking for old song. I came across the soundtrack for the episode Once More, With Feeling from Buffy’s 6th season, and I’m in love with the music. It reminds me of a really Broadway production, with all the musical pretense of something off-off-Broadway… hilarious. Plus, Anthony Stewart Head can fucking belt them out. Damn, he’s good. I’ll need to find his stuff and listen to it.

Anthony Stewart Head can fucking belt them out
Indeed he can. I saw him in the London production of “Chess” in 1988. His brother Murray made a hit out of one of “Chess”‘ songs called “One Night In Bangkok,” although he may be better known for his work in “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
/old and with a good memory.
For some reason my brain was saying that he’d done musical theater. Then I passed it off as it being some other British actor, but you proved me wrong. Good job!
He has a CD out too. I can’t remember the name of it, but it’s on Amazon.
You need to call me sometime today. I’ll be out of the office between 11:30 and probably 1, but please, call me. Call me at home if you have to, we need to talk.
Music for Elevators π
Awesome CD, well worth it. I met ASH and talked to him about it, and a loooong bit of silence at the end… he told me “That’s what iPod’s are good for”!
Excellent. I’m looking for it on Rhapsody now π
Good luck!! I’d love to know what you think of it π
And it’s not available on Rhapsody for download π
Since you’re a friend of Julia’s, I could probably work something out for you…
